Setting a gradient in the Property Inspector for a graphic is easy. But if you want to do it with LiveCode scripting, it is not always clear what each parameter needs to be for a specific look. In particular, visualising the effect of the "via" parameter in the gradient array is not obvious when working in code.

This utility stack shows all the parameters of the fillGradient property as you adjust the gradient in the Inspector. The values shown can be used as a guide when you need to make a gradient using LiveCode.
