Updated to version 1.1 which fixes a problem introduced in a recent version of LiveCode that makes a variable name I used into a reserved word.
This stack shows how to use encryption with a password key for use in Revolution/LiveCode programs.
Encrypt and Decrypt buttons will use the key in the Password field and the Cipher method selected.
Confirm password button will compare hashes to confirm that the correct password was entered.
